After a particularly packed long weekend, Beijing's easing itself into a fairly chilled-out week. So in no particular order, read on for our top pick of things to do this week.
FIFA World Cup 2018

Fête de la Musique

The très cool French music festival returns to Beijing this week, bringing with it a whole raft of top-notch local and international acts. Slated to perform are French indie bands Pony Pony Run Run, Colours in the Street (pictured) and Lysistrata, while local bands Future Orients and Da Bang are set to represent the homefront. And the best part? C'est gratuit.
Hedgehog

Hedgehog are back. The beloved Beijing trio – one of China's finest bands – appear on strong form as they head back to where it all began to celebrate the release of their new eponymous album.
Incredibles 2
In Beijing cinemas from Fri 22
Still underground with criminalised superpowers and a destroyed home, Mr Incredible, Elastigirl and their children, Violet, Dash and the explosive baby Jack-Jack, quietly live in a dingy motel. However, their luck suddenly turns when a pair of wealthy siblings – the naive Winston (Bob Odenkirk) and brainy inventor Evelyn (Catherine Keener) – offer them a chance to restore the Supers' reputation.
Ivan Smagghe

Yeti Dis:ko returns to Dada bringing one of the biggest names in the dark disco wave movement. Long regarded as your favourite DJ's favourite DJ, Ivan Smagghe comes from an older school of spinning. With over 20 years of DJing under his belt, his iconic style mixes darker tech moments with brighter disco and electronic vibes.
London Symphony Orchestra

Conductor Gianandrea Noseda is widely recognised as one of the leading conductors of his generation. This Thursday, he leads the London Symphony Orchestra, as well as guest pianist Yefim Bronfman, in an unmissable classical programme.

Luminescent Montreal-based post-punk, pop and experi-rock outfit Suuns make their Beijing debut this week courtesy of Split Works. Support by Fishdoll.
Saigon
Beijing Poly Theatre. Sat 23-Sun 24. Tickets tbc
Set in a restaurant called Marie-Antoinette, Saigon crosses time and space, travelling between Paris and Saigon in 1956, when the last of the French left Vietnam behind, and in 1996, when the lifting of the American embargo gave the Vietnamese new hope. As historical events explode around them, the characters share their lives, loves, pain and dreams. Like the characters, the company Les Hommes Approximatifs' actors are all French, Vietnamese or French-Vietnamese, and the story is drawn from their experiences. In French with Chinese subtitles.
Ummet Ozcan

Dutch-Turkish DJ Ummet Ozcan has worked with the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, R3hab, Tiësto and Axwell & Ingrosso. Best known for hits like 'Reboot', 'The Box' and 'Everything Changes', Ozcan is also known for his softsynth and soundbank design for Rob Papen and Access Virus.
TNT Theatre: The Hunchback of Notre-Dame

Based on Victor Hugo's iconic novel, The Hunchback of Notre-Dame follows the tale of Quasimodo, a half-blind hunchback who serves as the bell-ringer of Notre Dame. In love with the beautiful Gypsy Esmerelda, Quasimodo is soon entangled in a dramatic series of events that involves the lecherous Claude Frollo and corrupt Captain Phoebus.
